Where to Stay in Sydney

Bondi Beach is a beautiful area to stay in while you are visiting Sydney. You can eat breakfast watching the surf or take an early morning stroll along the coastal path. There are buses which travel from Bondi Beach to the city centre frequently and cabs are an inexpensive option as well.

Manly Beach is another excellent location to stay if you want to be near the beach. It is only a short ride to the city on a ferry which takes you directly to Circular Quay.

The city itself is also a great place to find accommodation. Most backpackers staying in the city who are up for a lot of partying opt for hostels in Kings Cross. These are often cheap, packed with people from around the world and very close to all the action. Kings Cross is notorious for its nightlife and has earned the reputation of being Australia’s red light district.
