Visitors Guide to Byron Bay
Byron Bay is a mecca for backpackers. There are no huge attractions in this northern beach town but for some reason backpackers flock there. Perhaps it’s the easy going nature of everyone who lives there or the beautiful scenery from the bay. Byron Bay is easy to get to by air, bus, train or car. Travelers can fly into one of the nearby airports in Ballina or Coolangatta from most cities in Australia. Byron Bay is one of the major stops on the Sydney to Brisbane rail line which operates frequently. Also, most backpacker bus tour companies have a stop here.
