Brisbane Forest Park

This large nature reserve is essential to many native plants and animals, and features the Walk-About Creek Wildlife Centre. This centre is an education and information centre for local wildlife and has aquariums, enclosures, and a walk-through aviary. This park offered pockets of subtropical rainforest, eucalyptus woodland and remote gorges, and is 36,000 hectares and part of the vast bushland area just outside of Brisbane.  Brisbane Forest Park is now known as D'Aguilar National Park.
